New Company in Cleveland plans to hire hundreds
Employment Connection is the primary recruitment and referral source for new Cleveland jobs.
CLEVELAND – January 15, 2010 – Employment Connection has partnered with SP Data, a contact/call center industry leader, to recruit potential candidates for hundreds of available jobs in Cleveland, OH.
SP Data was brought to Cleveland through a community collaboration of partners including Team NEO, the region's business attraction agent, the City of Cleveland Department of Economic Development and Employment Connection.

SP Data, a mid-size outsourcer, plans to hire 200 to 300 employees over a 3-year period at its new local office located at the MK Ferguson Plaza, 1500 W. 3rd Street, Cleveland, OH 44113. Recruitment for open positions began in November 2009, with over 50 people hired or beginning training by January 2010. Continual recruitment will be held for insurance licensed and non-licensed call center agents. On-the-job training will be provided by SP Data in collaboration with Employment Connection.
Employment Connection, through its partnership with the United Labor Agency, is the primary recruitment and referral entity for these positions. Non-licensed call center agents will be paid $10 per hour plus commission. These positions are primarily second shift, from 1-9 pm or 3-11pm, depending on the product that relates to calls being made. The licensed call center agents should have life & health as well as property & casualty licensure.
